Desi Explorers YVR Night Kayaking

Our fourth kayaking event and the first one at night!

We will paddle out into the Arm at dusk, in a well-illuminated kayak on a 2.5 hour guided tour. There will be an experienced guide who will tell you about the history of Say Nuth Khaw Yum/Indian Arm, details about the geography of the area, and information about the wildlife that lives in the area. If you’re lucky, you might get to experience the magical bio-luminescence that appears!

Your ticket only states your interest in attending this event. You MUST still buy your own ticket with the kayak rental company at https://www.deepcovekayak.com/kayak/kayak-tours/friday-night-lights/

Please be familiar with their cancellation guidelines and Diasporaa won't be responsible if you can't attend and don't get a refund. Please arrive by 7.00pm so that we are geared up in time to leave at 7.30pm.

Other Important Points to note:

Some kayaking experience strongly recommended.

Please don't bring along anyone who has not bought a ticket.

You must follow provincial social distancing guidelines while at the meetup including but not limit to mask wearing and vaccine passports.
